Staying Down on the Shot

Trillium Rose has some fun with the common advice to stay down? In golf instructor language she says we think of that as posture. It’s about maintaining your spine angle instead of standing up too soon. Great tip!

Here’s an image for you to maintain that spine angle: put on a really crappy wig and make some swings. Your hair should feel like it dangles towards the ground in your early follow through. You’ll stand up at the end, of course, but if you stand up too soon that hair is not going to dangle.
