Six fun lessons and an interesting post from the Women’s Golf Group in this first newsletter for November.
Golf has so many different parts but I love the short game most of all. You don’t need to be athletic and strong to chip or putt well and you can work on it when the weather isn’t good enough to get out on the course. If you’re the same way you’ll love at least three of the six lessons in this week’s newsletter.
The tallest flag in golf and a fun season closing event in Montreal are two of the highlights from the Women’s Golf Group in this week’s issue. And five great lessons for you from Christina Ricci, the ProGolfGals, Trillium Rose, Maria Palozola, and Kristin Walla.
We know instinctively that turning your body at the right time is important but it’s easy to get lazy and overuse your arms or legs in the swing. In this issue Natalie Adams, our UK instructor, has a great drill to help you get turning.
Uneven lies on the course are challenging, it’s so easy to duff the shot. This week’s feature lesson by Christina Ricci will help you hit a clean hybrid from an uphill lie. Another very popular lesson is Marcela Smith’s explanation of the rules when you have a ‘swing and a miss’ or accidentally knock the ball off the tee.
Depending on where you are, the weather is either starting to cool down or warm up (like it is here). Wherever you are in the world it’s always fun to be thinking about how to improve your golf game. This week we have lessons to fix ‘casting’ in your swing, get in the right posture, find the perfect putting grip pressure, play well out of the sand, and a great drill to help you stop hitting fat shots. Plus a highlight from the Women’s Golf Group.
In this issue we are including lessons on two of the biggest issues for amateur golfers, putting nerves from Anne Rollo and getting out of bunkers from Karen Palacios Jansen. I hope you get to put these excellent tips to the test soon. I have also added a small ‘how to’ section on bookmarking your favorite lessons so that you can easily return to them when you need a reminder.
Improve your game with lessons from Kristin Walla, Christina Ricci, Megan Johnston, Meredith Kirk and Natalie Adams and enjoy posts from the Women’s Golf Group in this week’s Solheim Cup packed newsletter.
We are definitely blessed to have 28 of the best instructors in golf and you’ll love the six lessons in this issue. Highlights include Erika Larkin showing how the pendulum motion works, Cathy Kim blasting the ball out of a plugged bunker lie, and Debbie O’Connell taking us out on the course to demonstrate her strategic mindfulness techniques.
This week we have six great lessons from Christina Ricci, the ProGolfGals, Meredith Kirk, Trillium Rose, Kellie Stenzel, and Sue Shapcott.
Hitting shots from tricky lies is our theme this week with Cathy Kim handling a downhill lie and Megan Johnston’s advice for drought conditions.
In the Women’s Golf Group Stacy has just broken 80 for the first time and lucky Jane made it on to Pebble Beach.
Getting more distance with your shots is by far our most popular lesson subject and this week Christina Ricci shows how to get your speed at the right spot in your swing. Plus, five new lessons from Deb Vangellow, Alison Curdt, the Pro Golf Gals, Teresa Zamboni, and Meredith Kirk.
