Losing Distance? Try this Drill If You are Casting the Club

If your golf club droops during your swing, you’re likely losing distance and consistency.

To improve your swing, grab a towel and place it behind the ball. This will help you visualize the correct angle.

Take the length of your club grip and place the ball that distance away from the towel.

Practice hitting down on the ball, ensuring that your club doesn’t cast or flip. The goal is to maintain the angle throughout your swing and cleanly hit the ball.

Notice how your handle moves forward during the swing.

Start by practicing in slow motion and gradually work your way up to a full swing.
