Choosing Between a High or Low Pitch Shot

PGA and LPGA Master Professional Alison Curdt shows how a lower lofted approach can often have a better chance of success than the high lob.

When a pin location is close to the front edge of the green, many golfers feel they need to hit a high lofted shot to access the hole location. You have other options, such as a lower pitch that banks into the front of the green, slows down, and rolls up to the pin. Which one should you choose?

Editor’s Note: Apologies for the inconsistent audio quality in Alison’s video. It was a very windy day!
