Ella and Lucy Jerde – Fun With Girls Golf

Young Granite Bay CA sisters Ella (6) and Lucy (4) Jerde are the first sisters to be featured in Girls Golf and the youngest girls too! The photos tell the story of how much fun Ella and Lucy have in the First Tee and USGA*LPGA Girls Golf programs.

We asked Dad and future caddie, Tyler Jerde to play the role of Women’s Golf interviewer:

What made you want to start playing golf and how old were you?
We both wanted to start playing golf because Daddy does. We started playing golf in the backyard at the age of 3. Ella now 6 Lucy now 4.

Where do you play and/or practice and what do you like about your course?
We play and practice at all the public Roseville golf courses. We like to visit new golf courses all the time, we especially like the ones with pretty blue oceans and palm trees.

We love it! We always have a playing and practice partner 🙂

Have you got a golf teacher?
We are both taking lessons with The First Tee Program in Roseville CA. Our teacher is Fran Cones. She is very nice and fun to have as a coach 🙂
