Need More Distance? Activate Your Big Muscles

Trillium Rose recommends doing a simple squat before you go out to get your pelvis, glutes and abdominals warmed up and going to support your spine and increase your rotation speeds.

Need Distance? Activate Your Big Muscles

Distance can be achieved by any number of ways. One way is to increase your speed, both club head and body segment speed like your hands, torso and pelvis.

But before any of that, I want to point out a really simple way that you might even begin to rotate your pelvis / glutes and abdominals (some of the biggest muscles in your body) to your advantage.

It all starts with activation (contacting or firing). I suggest doing a simple squat on the range to get them warmed up and going. It’s beyond basic but guess what, it works as a way to wake them up and start using them to support your spine and increase your rotation speeds.
