Do You Get “Stuck” in Your Downswing?

Are you trying to move your hips first and can’t coordinate your swing? Be careful! A lot of good ball strikers actually fight this move and then end up blocking or hooking as a result. Try this drill for better sequence, connection, and angle of attack.

Do you spin-out and get “stuck” in the downswing?
Are you trying to move your hips first and can’t coordinate your swing? Be careful. A lot of good ball strikers actually fight this move and then end up blocking or hooking as a result.

Try this drill for better sequence, connection, and angle of attack. You will hit it straighter with less curve. You will hit more down on the ball. understand too much separation early in the downswing is not good. Keep the right heel on the ground a moment longer, get the hands in front of the rod with good posture and then pivot and release.
This drill is NOT for over-the-top swingers!
