Show Me How to Apply This Lesson in Practice
What: Learn to control shot shape (draw/fade) by adjusting your setup to influence the relationship between club path and clubface.
Why: Exaggerated setup changes train your swing path to correct slices (too far left) or hooks (too far right).
| Goal | Path Direction | Setup (Body) | Clubface Aim |
| Train a Draw (Fix a Slice/Block) | Right (In-to-Out) | Closed (Aim right of target) | Target Line |
| Train a Fade (Fix a Hook/Pull) | Left (Out-to-In) | Open (Aim left of target) | Target Line |
How: Use alignment sticks to set your body (feet, hips, shoulders) dramatically open or closed, while keeping the clubface aimed at the target. Swing along your body line to groove the new path.
