10 Ball Practice Range Game

Trillium Rose demonstrates a fun drill/game you can do next time you're on the range so that instead of just hitting balls you're actually putting value on each shot just like you do when you play.

Here’s a great driving range drill. Separate out 10 balls then choose a target line and shot shape. I’m going to hit a draw so the ball should start to the right of my target and curve back without crossing the line. Give each ball a score then treat each shot like you’re on the golf course.

In the video I’ve edited out the part where I stand behind the ball but you should definitely do that for each shot.

My final score is ultimately the score I want to beat next time.

So its all about gamifying your practice to make it more fun, more like what you’d do and feel on the course. I got this game/drill from Mike Bender.

Every golfer’s game is different. That’s why Women’s Golf members receive my personalised lesson recommendations based on their goals, challenges and experience. Tell me about your game and you'll know exactly what to work on next.

Fairway woods at a 10-19 handicap is such a valuable area to tighten up and there is a really strong library to draw from.
