10 Ball Practice Range Game

Trillium Rose demonstrates a fun drill/game you can do next time you're on the range so that instead of just hitting balls you're actually putting value on each shot just like you do when you play.

Here’s a great driving range drill. Separate out 10 balls then choose a target line and shot shape. I’m going to hit a draw so the ball should start to the right of my target and curve back without crossing the line. Give each ball a score then treat each shot like you’re on the golf course.

In the video I’ve edited out the part where I stand behind the ball but you should definitely do that for each shot.

My final score is ultimately the score I want to beat next time.

So its all about gamifying your practice to make it more fun, more like what you’d do and feel on the course. I got this game/drill from Mike Bender.

When You Need More Lag in Your Swing
Are you a caster? Here’s a drill Trillium Rose learned from legendary teacher Jim McLean - the 9 to 3 drill. It will improve your timing and help you release the club into impact.
Under the Bridge Drill
Try Trillium Rose's Under the Bridge drill. It will help you stay in posture throughout your swing.
Trillium's Quick Shank Fix
Anti Shank Drill by Trillium Rose. "If you’ve had a fit of the shanks you know what I’m talking about. I was asked about this yesterday in the comments of my last lesson so I figured a video is the easiest way to respond! Hope it helps you".
