Weight Transfer From Your Back to Front Foot for More Power

How's your weight transfer…back…and through? Christina Ricci shows the importance of getting your weight shifting on to your back foot and then forward and how she initiates this move for good distance and ball flight.

Make sure that you are getting your weight shifting properly back and forward because if you don’t get it back you’re going to reverse pivot and the ball will go weak right. So make sure that your weight gets gets right back onto your back foot and fell it getting then we get it to the front because if it stays back you’ll spin back and again the ball will go weak right.

So, focus on getting your weight on to your back foot and then feel your weight shifting to the front and pushing into the ground because that’s the leverage you need to get good ball flight and distance.

Weight Transfer From Your Back to Front Foot for More Power

I get the weight shift by driving my back knee as a trigger that it’s time to move that weight forward. Notice how my back is still facing the target at the top of the backswing and then I initiate the weight shift to the front by driving it with my the knee. You may get there by just feeling it …. whatever works for you as long as you get it back and then get it forward.
