Hope Island Pro Am Photo Essay

Queensland photographer, David Burness's photo essay of the Hope Island Pro-Am.

It’s always summer somewhere! We took advantage of our connection with Brisbane photographer, David Burness to publish some of his beautiful images from the recent Hope Island Pro Am on the Australian Ladies Professional Golf tour. Played on the magnificent Links Hope Island course, this year’s event in January was won by Australian, Rebecca Artis.

Photographer David BurnessDavid Burness is a talented photographer (and avid golfer) who brings his passion for sports through the lens to capture the excitement that draws spectators to the game.

He has been shooting Sports, Concerts, and Portraits since 2004. David has captured sporting moments such as the Australian PGA Championships and the Australian Ladies Masters, the V8 Supercar Championships and has also photographed such people as Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, Nine Inch Nails and Elton John.
