Your Action Plan
What: Your goal is to learn how to hit three different types of chip shots—low, mid, and high—by making simple adjustments to your setup.
Why: Knowing how to control the trajectory of your chips allows you to adapt to different situations around the green, giving you more options and confidence.
How:
- For a Low Shot: Play the ball back in your stance with a square clubface and a straight setup.
- For a Mid-Flight Shot: Play the ball in the middle of your stance with a square or slightly open face and minimal wrist hinge.
- For a High Shot: Play the ball forward in your stance with an open clubface, and add more wrist hinge for a higher launch and less roll.
